“Weave beautifully your small thread in the grand tapestry.” – Gordon B. Hinckley
“Art is our one true global language. It knows no nation, it favors no race, and it acknowledges no class. It speaks to our need to reveal, heal, and transform. It transcends our ordinary lives and lets us imagine what is possible.” – Richard Kamler
About the artist
Healing through Art Exploration
Marie Pratuch is a disabled veteran who has been actively pursuing ceramics since 2013 and has more than 9 years of experience teaching wheel-thrown pottery to adults. She has also worked in painting with acrylics and watercolors for more than 20 years. She recently started exploring printmaking and basket weaving with the intent of using those techniques and printed works to decorate and add to her ceramic pieces. Marie is always looking to expand her horizons to learn and practice new art forms and is most interested in how combining different artistic mediums and styles can develop thought-provoking pieces.
